Using the Catalogue
To log in, click on the link, input your user name (library membership number off your card) and your password.
When you're logged in, you can:
Hold (reserve) items*
- See what you have on hold, or drop (cancel) holds.
- Renew overdue loans
- View your reading history
- Change your password
* If you want an item from another branch of our library, or it's out on loan and you want to be next to have it, then you can hold (reserve) it. Reserves cost $1 per item, payable on collection.
If you can't remember, or do not have a password, click on 'Forgotten Your Password' link and follow the instructions, assuming the library has your email address on file, a password will be emailed to you. Passwords are valid for 12 months. If you update your password, it must be between 7 to 13 characters long and contain no symbols. New passwords work immediately with the library catalogue, but will not work until after 10am next working day with the e-Book app.
Our catalogue offers keyword searching (like Google). Avoid using common small words like "A, The, Of, I" and try using author name, book title or a mixture of both.
You can access the library subscription databases from the catalogue also.
Library members can download our e-Books to all devices (excluding Kindle).
To browse our e-Book selection, you will need to download the Wheelers ePlatform App first.

What can I do if you don't have the item I need?
If you want an item that we do not own, for a small fee we can interloan it from another NZ library, on your behalf. Email us with the title/author and your details, or contact your local branch.
How long will my interloan take?
This does vary; the item may not be immediately available, or we may need to approach more than one library.
What happens once my item arrives?
We will notify you when it's ready to be collected. The fee must be paid at collection. The lending library determines the issue period and any usage restrictions; renewals may be possible at no extra cost (ask your librarian). All material is subject to recall by the owning institution at any time. Charges will be applied for lost or damaged materials.
