You can use our catalogue to locate items kept at any of
our four branches.
Using the Catalogue
To log in, click on the link, input your user name (library membership number off your card) and your passcode.
When you're logged in, you can:
Hold (reserve) items*
- See what you have on hold, or drop (cancel) holds.
- Renew overdue loans
- View your reading history
- Create lists (of things you want to read, etc)
- Change your passcode
* If you want an item from another branch of our library, or it's out on loan and you want to be next to have it, then you can hold (reserve) it. Holds cost $1 per item, payable on collection.
You can also use the Bookmyne app (for apple or android) and search for your town name e.g. Dannevirke. Using the app, you can also see what is checked out and renew items, access lists, etc.
If you can't remember, or do not have a passcode, click on 'Forgotten Your Passcode'. Assuming your email address is on file, a password will be emailed to you within 15 minutes. Passcodes do not expire. If you update your passcode, it must be between 4 and 20 characters long and contain no symbols. New passwords work immediately with the library catalogue, but will not work until after 10am next working day with the e-Book app.
Our catalogue offers federated and keyword searching (like Google). Avoid using common small words like "A, The, Of, I" and try using author name, book title or a mixture of both. You can access some of our library subscription databases from the catalogue also.
As a Library member you can access and download our wide selection of e-Books to your electronic device (excluding Kindle) for free. You can access the collection by:

What can I do if you don't have the item I need?
If you want an item that we do not own, for a small fee we can interloan it from another NZ library, on your behalf. Email us with the title/author and your details, or contact your local branch.
