About the position
The Tararua District Council currently has a vacancy for a Planning Officer. Based in the Tararua District area, the successful applicant will need to have good customer service and communication skills, knowledge of the Resource Management Act 1991, and a relevant tertiary qualification.
This role would suit a new graduate or planner with limited experience. However, planners with more experience are also encouraged to apply.

The Tararua District Council is responsible for Civil Defence in the Tararua District and as a result, the successful applicant may be assigned an appropriate and agreed role, for which appropriate training will be provided.
