Funding Information Service

Funding Information Service produces three online searchable databases about funding and works with all sectors in New Zealand i.e. community and voluntary sector, whanau, hapu and iwi organisations, education and training, environment, arts, sport and recreation, culture and heritage, business, economic development, central and local government.

FundView is the primary source of information in New Zealand about funding for community and voluntary sector organisations. It holds information about 621 funding schemes totalling almost $1 billion. The funding comes from government, local government, statutory trusts, local trusts, service organisations, corporates and philanthropic trusts. The information includes application requirements, criteria and closing dates, funding available, contact details and other relevant information.

BreakOut is a database of 2300 awards, scholarships and grants for individuals mainly in tertiary study, research, personal development, sport and artistic fields. Like FundView it includes comprehensive information in each record.
