Ensuring that all Tararua District senior residents are empowered to make informed choices, thereby enabling them to live satisfying and healthy lifestyles.

Inaugural Event: 23rd April 2020

Organised by a sub-committee of the Tararua Health and Wellbeing Governance Group, this inaugural “Age on the Go” Expo will provide information, education and entertainment for hundreds of visitors that attend during the event.

The Expo will be held at the Woodville Community Centre, 11 Ross Street, Woodville on 23rd April 2020, from 10am to 3pm.

Entry is free-of-charge and free transport may be arranged for those who would otherwise struggle to get to the event.

The organising committee plan to make this a bi-annual event that will be moved around the District thereby allowing ease of access for all our seniors.  Light refreshments will be available for purchase on the day, mini-seminars will be programmed throughout the event, providing excellent advice, assistance, and advocacy and continual entertainment will create a fun and vibrant atmosphere.

This will be an event where our seniors can access Government Agencies, NGO’s, Mobility and Lifestyle service providers and Health and Wellbeing agencies, all under one roof.
