Long Term Plan Pre-consultation
Long Term Plan Public Pre-consultation is now closed.
From 14 September to 19 October 2020, Council opened pre consultation of our Long Term Plan. During this time over 300 submissions were made and council is now collating these responses into a report to present to the Mayor/Councillors.

What is the Long Term Plan (LTP)?
In simple terms, the LTP outlines everything councils do and what they plan to do during the plan’s 10 year period. It also explains why certain things are done and the cost of doing them.
Every three years, councils are required, by the Local Government Act 2002 (part 6), to prepare a LTP in consultation with their community.
The LTP must include information on activities, goods and services the council provides, and specific funding and financial management policies and information.
