Libraries Tararua has has teamed up with the Digital Inclusion Alliance Aotearoa (DIAA) to offer Skinny Jump

Users of Skinny Jump receive a free wifi modem and 15GB of free data monthly.

You must pay to top up at least twice a year to keep the modem active. Only using the free 15GB data a month, causes the sim in the modem to expire after 12 months and you won't be able to use it anymore.

Topping up costs $5 for an extra 35GB; you can top up a maximum of six times every month (210GB / $30) Top up by buying a Skinny voucher at a dairy, petrol station or supermarket, or login to your Skinny app and buy online.

Check if Skinny Jump is available at your address.

NOTE: Skinny Jump is not available at all locations, especially rural. Sometimes you can't get a modem if Skinny has reached it's allocation for the area - keep checking the address checker regularly though, just in case a space becomes available. We can also put your name on a waitlist if we are out of modems.

Are you eligible?
