NEWA - Cyclone Gabrielle Welfare Support Grant

The deadline for applications to the Cyclone Gabrielle Welfare Support Grant has been extended to 31 August 2023.

Created to reimburse marae, iwi and other community groups for costs incurred caring for people displaced during the State of National Emergency, the grant is administered by the National Emergency Management Agency.  Some conditions apply. Grants are usually capped at $40,000 ex GST, but organisations may be able to apply for additional grants.
