We are looking for a Building Consents Administrator who can provide administrative duties for Building Services, process incoming building consents with priority and in accordance with Council policies and regulatory requirements.
In this role you need awareness of Council’s statutory obligations under a range of legislation and carry out administrative duties as required to meet statutory timeframes in a demanding environment.
The core part of this role is providing administrative services for the Building Team. It requires a collaborative and customer service focus, with an emphasis on workload planning and organisational skills. You will work closely with the regulatory administrators and the Building Operations Team Leader to provide an effective and efficient service to our community by prioritising and coordinating tasks to meet required timeframes.

A tertiary qualification in Business Administration is desirable, with experience in a similar role an advantage.
