Infrastructure Compliance Lead

We are currently seeking an Infrastructure Compliance Lead to join Council’s Utilities Team based in the Tararua District.
As a key member of the team looking after 3 waters and solid waste services for the Tararua district, your role will focus on effective and efficient management of the Council’s infrastructure compliance obligations, particularly relating to water and wastewater resource consents and drinking water standards.

The following skills and work experience are desirable:

  • Experience in a planning or regulatory role
  • Solid working understanding of the Resource Management Act 1991
  • Solid understanding of local government
  • Highly developed documentation, report and workflow process writing skills
  • Highly developed relationship management skills
  • Proven interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others
  • Strong focus on quality in all elements of work
