Contestable Fund Recipients

Tararua District Council is committed to supporting the long-term growth and development of our community. The Contestable Fund, amounting to $100,000 annually, will support requests that contribute to a connected and thriving district.

Previous recipients

The total amount of funding available for Round 1 of the 2026/27 District-wide Contestable Fund was $49,829.94. The panel has retained a small portion of funding ($1,697.44) to allow for consideration of any urgent applications that may arise. A total of 39 submissions were received, requesting a combined total of $183,572.60.
