Community Facilities

The Tararua District Council supplies and maintains a number of buildings for community use. These buildings provide suitable facilities for residents to meet for leisure, recreation, sport, cultural, social, and educational activities.

For some facilities, Council may request a bond is payable, which is refunded if no damage occurs. All fees, including the bond, are payable in advance of hire.

Booking a Facility

If you would like to book one of the following facilities, please fill out the application form and return it to your nearest council service centre. Alternatively, contact the facilities directly below.

Please note: For Bush Multisport, Norsewood War Memorial Hall, and Pahiatua Cultural Centre, you will need will need to book directly with them. Their contact details can be found below.

The Bush Multisport Park was opened in 2004, becoming the major hub for sporting activities and events in the Tararua District. Bush Multisport Park facilities are available to host corporate, educational, social, sporting, entertainment and cultural functions.
