My principal place of residence is in the South Tararua Ward area.

I have worked as a nurse in the public health system, for 14 years, most predominantly, within the local community. I have had the pleasure of living in Tararua district for 3 years. I have a strong connection to the land and environment. I believe that Healthy Land means Healthy People. I understand the importance of listening to local voices, their concerns and needs as ultimately, not feeling heard or having your needs met, can negatively impact your well-being. I regard myself as honest and having veracity, as these are attributes required in my nursing role. I am confident with speaking the truth, as the truth does not mind being questioned. My main priority is a healthy Tararua, so we can all thrive together, which is my major reason for standing for council.
