My principal place of residence is not in the South Tararua Ward area. I am also standing for Dannevirke Community Board.

Born Dannevirke,resided in conoor makuri in early days. Went to Dannevirke high. Started banking career from school , moving to Napier for promotion and opportunity.

Returned home to manage a grocery store, then drove trucks for Withey Brothers until starting my own contracting business 40 years ago servicing farming, building, construction industries and Highway maintainance crews doing watertabling, digouts, bridge protection riprap and flood damage repairs.

Also winning contracts with Palmerston North City, Manawatu District, Natural gas corporation, Railways.

Cyclone gabrielle called to Tongoio by Ngati Kahungunu to assist local Marae, Hastings District Council, & Regional council to clean up 15 kilometres of streams in hawkes bay which kept me busy for 8 months, while still serving my local clients

I stand for accountability, affordability, transperancy & essentials done well by all local contractors suppliers that keep our rate monies in our economy
