James Walker

My principal place of residence is in the North Tararua Ward area.

Hi my name is James Walker. I have lived in Dannevirke most of my life. I grow up in a farming community, then was an engineer in town for 10 years and have farmed in that area for 23years before starting up a home kill business.

I have been on the golf club management committee for the last 15 years, along with other sports clubs. I am a practical thinking person and like to think there is always more than 2 ways of doing things. I think common sense and communication is a must as well as taking responsibility for your mistakes.

Being passionate about our community and its future is why I would like to represent the people of our community.
