My name is Jono Harrison and I'm proud to stand for the Dannevirke Community Board. I've spent my life working on the ground alongside our people - supporting youth, kaumatua, and whanau through health, social services, and community-led initiatives.

Born and raised in Dannevirke, I care deeply about our town and want to help shape a future where everyone feels supported and connected. I've held governance roles across local trusts, kura, kohanga reo, and marae, always focused on practical, community-first solutions that make a real difference. I believe strong communities are built from the ground up - by listening, backing local ideas, and doing the mahi to grow what matters most. If elected, I'll bring hands-on experience, strong local networks, and a genuine passion for seeing our people thrive.
