We need to do things differently
My principal place of residence is in the South Tararua Ward area. I am also standing for Mayor.
Over the past three years, I’ve worked hard on council to improve performance, lift expectations, and push for more accountability. I’ve consistently spoken up about financial responsibility and the need to rein in unsustainable rate increases.
Rates keep rising, yet many people feel they’re getting less in return. That’s not good enough. I want council to focus on core services, control costs, cut waste, and deliver real value for money.
I’m standing again because I know we can do better - and I want to keep driving change. That means smarter decision-making, clearer direction, and better outcomes for our communities.
Outside council, I’m actively involved in the community. I serve as a trustee of Tararua REAP, chair of the Bush Charitable Trust, and President of Woodville Lions. I also run a local business, so I understand the real pressures our community is facing.
I’d be honoured to continue representing you.
