Steve Wallace

My principal place of residence is in the North Tararua Ward area. I am also standing for Mayor.

Born and Educated in Dannevirke. I have a lifelong connection to our district. Over the years, I've proudly served on a School Board of Trustees and have been actively involved in many community organisations, including the present Executive Committee of the Dannevirke and District RSA.

Together with my family, we owned and operated our electrical business for over 33 years, which our son now runs. My longstanding interest in local politics led me to stand for Council in the last term. It has been a rewarding three years, and I have gained valuable knowledge and experience during that time.

l'm standing again to continue the work we've started and to further pursue the needs of our communities and district. I remain committed to serving with pragmatic dedication and ensuring that the voices of our ratepayers are heard and respected.
