Mel Corlett

Mel CorlettMy principal place of residence is in the Eketahuna Community Board area.

Eketāhuna has been home to me and my family for nearly nine years, and I truly love being part of this wonderful community. As a mum of five and a self-employed plasterer for over 20 years, I understand the value of hard work, connection, and supporting those around us. I created the Eketāhuna Community Facebook page to help locals stay informed and feel more connected, and I’m proud to be involved with the Our Town committee, the Eketāhuna Health Centre Board, and the Eketāhuna Radio Society. I’m friendly, approachable, and always happy to listen. I’m standing for the Community Board because I care about our town's future and want to keep working alongside others to make Eketāhuna an even better place to live. It would be an honour to represent our community and help make sure every voice feels heard and valued.
