About the role
The Design & Engineering Technician, working within the Tararua Alliance, supports the planning, design, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include contributing to project scope development, preparing project drawings, developing schedules of quantities and quality plans, and liaising with stakeholders, subcontractors, and consultants. The role may also involve providing onsite testing and survey support, conducting site inspections, and undertaking other design and engineering tasks to ensure projects are delivered to specification.
Who we are looking for
- Diploma in Civil Engineering (preferred) or other relevant Civil Engineering related qualifications.
- Experience in Road Design software.
- Understanding of AUSTRoads design standard
