Building Consent Software
Updated 19 March 2026
We’re replacing our GoGet building consent processing software later this year. For most of our customers, there will be very little change to how you submit applications.
The new software is called Consent-IT and is provided by New Zealand company Allly. The new system will support a more modern and user-friendly consenting process.
The main impact is for anyone who currently has a Request for Information (RFI) outstanding, particularly where the RFI has been open for 30 days or more.
Benefits of the Consent-IT software include:
- faster consenting through statutory clock automations - reducing avoidable rework and delays
- fewer, and shorter RFI cycles
- better customer experiences through digital lodgement and tracking, as well as self-service visibility
We expect the new system will go live in early May 2026 and our building team will get in touch with applicants that are getting close to the new system coming online in order to help them get their RFI's completed in good time.
