Eketāhuna Water Supply

The Eketāhuna water supply covers the urban area and outskirts of Eketāhuna.

Water is taken from the Makakahi River and is treated at the water treatment plant on South Road No.1, Eketāhuna.

The treatment for water at this site includes coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation and pressure (multimedia) filtration, followed by Ultraviolet light and chlorination.
