The theme for the 2027 competition is People, Place and Pride.

We're looking for great shots that tell the Tararua story and capture what makes our district special:

• People: Celebrate how we live, work and enjoy life here, capture authentic moments that reflect our communities, connections and everyday experiences.
• Place: Showcase our iconic landmarks, landscapes and hidden gems. Reveal your much-loved secret spots to capture Tararua's beauty, character and story.
• Pride: Be a champion for you corner of Tararua, show us what makes you proud to call Tararua home. Share your connection to reflect its beauty, spirit and identity.

Entries close on 30 September 2027. Everyone, of all ages, is invited to take part.
