In Dannevirke, the roundabout at the intersection of Rawhiti St/Stairs St/Queen St is nearing completion. Big thanks to the Queen Street businesses near the roundabout for their patience while the crews completed this much needed work.

The roundabout at Victoria Avenue will be upgraded after Waitangi weekend, with work expected to start on 7 February. This will require this roundabout to be closed for four weeks (subject to weather). Detours will be signposted.

In Pongaroa, a large box culvert on Pahiatua-Pongaroa Rd about 3km west of Pongaroa will be installed by crane, from 23 January to 26 January. During this time the road will be closed near the worksite. Please use alternative routes: To Pongaroa, detour Rimu Rd. From Pongaroa, detour Waihi Valley Road/Manuhara Rd.
