Woodville Water Restriction Raised

25 January 2024

Woodville had its  water restriction raised to  Alternate  Days on  10 January.  Woodville's demand  has had no significant reduction with an average of 1050 - 1250m³ /day being used by the community.

As a result  it has been necessary to raise the Woodville water restriction from alternate days to alternate evenings.  This means that hand-held hoses can only be used on alternate evenings between 7pm - 9pm i.e. houses with even street numbers on even nights and houses with odd street numbers on odd nights.
Examples of Hand-held hoses include sprinklers, hoses and water blasters

We ask that the Woodville community conserve water - some handy tips can be found on our website at:  Water conservation tips for all | Tararua District Council (tararuadc.govt.nz)
