Changes to our building consent software

9 March 2026

Later this year Council will be replacing GoGet, our building consent processing software with new software.

For most of our customers, there will be very little change to how they submit applications.

The main impact is for anyone who currently has a Request for Information (RFI) outstanding, particularly where the RFI has been open for 30 days or more.

What customers need to do

Respond to and complete any outstanding RFI within the next 30 days. This includes Code Compliance Certificate (CCC) RFI’s if your consent is currently in the CCC review stage.

If council does not receive a response within this timeframe:

  • the consent or CCC will be refused
  • the customer will be invoiced for any work completed on your consent to date
  • the customer will need to resubmit their application in the new system

We’ll share more information about the change, including the final date for submitting applications through GoGet, as it becomes available.
