Tararua District Council would like to learn more about the public recreational use of the Mangatainoka River in Pahiatua and the Mākākahi River in Eketāhuna. The information gathered from the survey will be used by Council to determine the current recreational uses of the  Mākākahi and Mangatainoka Rivers. This is to fulfil the requirements of an existing consent condition that applies to a section of both rivers.
