Tararua District Council has published its 2024–25 Annual Report, giving residents a clear, audited account of what was achieved over the year. Highlights include the completion of the Huarahi Tūhono (Route 52) upgrade between Weber and Wimbledon – a $16.8 million project funded entirely by central government, which has greatly improved road safety and resilience.

Council also made strong financial gains: securing increased government subsidies, managing costs tightly, and delivering key infrastructure projects without blowing budget.
