Temporary water shutdown Swinburn Street - Dannevirke
To liven up the new water main which was connected last week on Swinburn Street - Dannevirke, there will be another temporary water shutdown on Thursday, 14 October.
In order to minimise disruption as much as possible we have scheduled the shutdown between 9am– 12pm. We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause.
Please refer to the map to see which houses will be affected. There will be a letter drop to the houses affected by the temporary water shutdown. Apologies for any inconveniences caused.
Please note the following:
When we finish work like this we flush the network to return water quality to normal, however experience tells us that some residents may find their water is cloudy for a short time due to air in the reticulation line. If you experience cloudy water we recommend running your tap for 10 – 15 minutes, which should resolve the issue.
