Dannevirke residents urgently asked to conserve water

The Dannevirke Water Treatment Plant continues to produce water and the reservoir is replenishing nicely.
As a result of this good progress Dannevirke residents are no longer being asked to urgently conserve water. Please use water as for your normal daily routine and, like normal, be water wise.
We would like to thank all the water conservation hero's that supported our request to conserve water overnight.

- Dannevirke residents are still required to conserve water.
- Dannevirke’s water remains safe to drink.
- The electronic failure at Dannevirke's Water Treatment Plant has been resolved. However, it is essential for everyone to conserve water to allow the water levels to recover to acceptable levels.

- A huge thank you to all Dannevirke residents for their patience and efforts in saving water, which will allow the reservoir levels to recover to normal.

There has been an electronic failure at Dannevirke’s Water Treatment Plant and we are currently unable to fill the towns reservoir.
