New building consent software coming soon

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻-𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻; 𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄

Our GoGet building consent software is in the last few weeks of operation. We are moving to an improved building consent software, Consent-IT on 2 June 2026.

𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺?

𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱: If you have an existing building consent application your Requests for Information (RFI’s) and Code Compliance Certificate (CCC) RFI’s need to be completed before 29 May.  Our building team staff will be in touch with you to help you get your application over the finish line.

If you intend to start a new building consent application in the very immediate future you have two options, as follows:

𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱: Apply before 29 May. These applications will be processed on the existing GoGet software; you’ll have a very limited amount of time in which to complete your application.

𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱: Consider holding off from applying until 2 June. These applications will be processed on the new Consent-IT software. You’ll have the maximum amount of time available in which to complete your application.

What customers need to do: 


Customers should log onto their existing application on the Simpli portal and complete their outstanding RFI before 29 May 2026, this includes Code Compliance Certificate (CCC) RFI’s if their consent is currently in the CCC review stage.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗳 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗙𝗜 before 29 May 2026?

Our building team will get in touch with applicants that are getting close to the due date and help them get their applications across the finish line in good time, however, in the event a customer does not complete their existing RFI’s on the current GoGet system by 29 May 2026 their application will not migrate to the new system, meaning:

  • their consent or CCC will be refused
  • they will be invoiced for any work completed on their consent to date
  • they will need to resubmit their application on our Consent-IT system from 2 June 2026
