The go live date for our new building consent software, Consent-IT, has been extended out to 29 June 2026.

While this is not ideal it actually provides us with two major benefits:

• Existing consent applications on the old Simpli portal are now able to be migrated to Consent-IT, meaning applicants don't have any short timeframes to worry about and neither do they have to take any additional action.
• The final implementation will be smoother and better prepared for transition.

Consent-IT will look and feel very familiar to the current Simpli portal.  Customers can continue to access and use the same web portal they are familiar with.

All existing information will remain available, and applications can be submitted as usual with no action required on the customer part.

While the changes take place behind the scenes, the customer experience will remain consistent, with ongoing enhancements introduced over time to further improve the service
